CAD-MONKEY STYLE While working at Trident Design, I modeled the CAD in Solidworks for the Polder Style Station. My work was built upon conceptual sketches by fellow OSU ID alum and co-worker Joel Beebe. This product became a decades-long best seller that spawned an entire product line. CONTAIN THE PRESSURE I was contracted to build a 5,000 lb production-grade ski press. A basic contract and detailed record-keeping helped unwind the tensions that built up working with misaligned parties. LESSON: WRITE IT DOWN

RUSTLIN' 2 HUSTLIN' A conceptual resto-mod of my little brother’s old Traxxas Nitro Rustler RC car—reimagined with a lightweight, fully integrated carbon tub chassis. I never built it, but it marked the beginning of my interest in integrated vehicle chassis design. I sold the box of parts (clutter) for $40 to a man who wanted a project. I kept the CAD.
